My FH and I are realizing the budget is a little tighter then planned. We haven't found any trios or live music for the ceremony (at riviera). Would it be really tacky to just make a cd with the ceremony music, and play it on a small stereo?

No, I also think its perfectly fine to do that. And if you are having budget problems you will definitely save yourself a good amount of money by doing it that way.
