Need opinion from Fox Hollow brides (and March brides!)

What do you all think of a March wedding ('04) at Fox Hollow? That's one of the few months when you only have to guarantee 80 guests, which is about what I'll have. Is March an ok month, weather-wise? Like the end of March? I know you all love Fox Hollow - tons of great reviews here. I just want some reassurance

I'd hoped for a May reception but the minimums are too high for me at most places

Fox Hollow is beautiful any time of the year. There is only one you thing you can count on with the weather - that you can never tell what it will be. If March works for you I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy your planning.

In March you can get snow. Weather is very unpredictable though.

Don't say snow in March. I am praying my wedding day is nothing like today's weather.

We almost picked a March date at the Fox Hollow! I think March 20th was one of our choices because the 27th was already taken. We ended up with April 17th but I think March would be nice too, especially towards the end it will be getting warmer. At least you won't have April showers! lol! March is also cheaper, which is definitely a bonus! I think it was almost a $10 difference per person from March to April. I say go for it!

What room are you using? We will have the Winter Garden Pavillion because I just LOVE that room. It would be perfect for 80 people! We are having a bit more and I am getting worried about the size of our guest list!

March is a little unpredictable, but I was at a wedding at the very end of March last year and it was a nice cool day!

How many guests would be flying in? In the end, I think that March is fairly safe, and worth the risk -- but if you would be devastated if there would be snow you should reconsider. Personally, I think the snow would be pretty. Just make sure the important people fly in with some time to spare and you'll be fine! I've heard great things about Fox Hollow!!!

Ok - I feel better now! If the weather is bad we can take pictures at the church, and from what I saw on the Fox Hollow's website it looks like it's beautiful inside, plus they have that portrait studio so we can take pictures there. Did you all have your pictures taken at the Fox Hollow or somewhere else? And how did they come out if you took them at the Fox Hollow? Got any to post?

I don't think that it usually snows at the end of March. You can't predict the weather though.

Heard the expression -March comes in like a lion out like a lamb (I think) In any event the end of march is calmer weather. The rest of the month-?????
