I'm leaning towards having the girls wear an irridescent taffeta dress in silver (see pic). The actual dress is a little lighter than the picture. My concern is that they may look washed out in the pictures. Has anyone seen pictures of a bridal party in silver? How did they look? Thanks!
I like the dress, I'm not sure about the color. Perhaps the model is supposed to look pale, but your wedding is in August, so the BM might have more color thatn the model. I'm not good at visualising - sorry

I LOVe the color. It may get washed out looking in pics, that may be why they put that picture up against such a bright yellow background. I would ask a photographer their opinion on this one. Post that pic on the vendor board maybe

I've seen silver dresses in pictures, and while they stand out against black tuxes, they hardly show up against your bridal gown. They do appear a bit washed out as well. I'd suggest a different color.

That was the color I wanted at first, then I saw the BP next to the bride and they all looked like they were wearing white I quickly changed my mind.

I like the color, but I agree with the rest of the ladies. It will look a little washed out next to your gown.

I was on a BP with a similiar color dress. It didn't wash out in the pictures, but its not vibrant. Bright colors in your flowers would help. Also we had wraps that were silver on one side and black velvet on the inside. We always had them displayed with some black showing and it added to the dramatic effect. The dresses by themselves were a bit dull without the wrap.

Since most think the silver will look washed out, which of the two colors below do you like? The colors maybe a little off on the screen but you get the idea. Thanks!
I like the rose or silver. My fh's cousin had silver dresses for her wedding last september and most of the girls were tan and it looked great!
I hope your girls are all thin for that dress though.. it is very pretty

I think I like the silver one the best, it looks elegant, and you MUST have to have a great figure to wear a dress like that.

i love the silver....why dont you have one of the bm try on any dress in silver (if your sample dress isnt available in the silver) and take a picutre of it...try different lightings to see how it would look in every possible scenario...then you can see what you're working with...it might wash out a bit, but i dont think by much...professional photogs use great equipment that really capture colors...
but my second choice would be the peach....

my bm dresses are silver. i love the color for an evening wedding. hopefully they won't look washed out in pics. i love the dress and the color so i'm not really worried.

I definitely love the parfait... and they are right about the figures of your girls... if they are not on the thin side this will not be a flattering dress, if they are thin (or thinish) it will be beautiful...
