Need opinion on hotel shuttle times please

So we are getting married at 7pm at Crest Hollow CC. Our guests are staying at the Four Points Sheraton in Plainview. Our Reception ends at 12:45pm. We get the hotel shuttle for 4 hours and can break it up however we want. The hotel suggested 6-8, and 12-2. Opinions Please im not sure I like the suggested break up.

It's a tough call. Is the drive long from the hotel to the venue? I would suggest since you are getting marries at 7, you would want your guests at the venue by 7 the latest. See if you can bump up the first 2 hours. For the return trip, do you have any relatives that may need to go back early and would actually need an earlier shuttle? I know it's all so confusing.

If we get 10 rooms we get a shuttle making 2 trips in each direction. For some reason, even though the hotel is only 4 miles away, it seems to take forever to get there. Our ceremony starts at 3pm and reception ends at 9. So we really had no choice but to have 2, 2:30 drop off and 9 and 9:30 pick up.

I agree with above, I sugest two trips there one at 6, one at 6:30 (Maybe this will be 1 1/2 hours) so either way guests get there on time, and then maybe 3 trips home in case anyone needs to leave early, or had children. Mabye an 11:30pm, a 12am and a 1am (2 1/2 hours)
