So for those who aren't doing limos to cut costs and because everything is at one place ceremony and reception, what is your plan for after the wedding? I don't see myself being able to drive to the hotel nor my fiancé either- not planning on getting trashed but I don't want either of us driving in that situation. My parents don't drink at all lol so they already said they'd just drive us to the hotel. I'm just thinking of my wedding party. Is it my responsibility and obligation to find transportation for everyone so they can drink and have fun without having to worry about someone stopping drinking to sober up to drive? I don't feel like I should have to pay for a shuttle for them if I'm not going to use it or is it something I should do? We are inviting people back to the hotel where were staying since there is a bar there and our reception ends at 5:30. The hotel we blocked at doesn't offer shuttle service.
Any thoughts are welcome!

we have people staying at the hotel so we got a shuttle to get them to the venue and then back after the wedding.
if your bridal party is staying at the hotel as well, id get a shuttle to take them to the hotel after. im using transtar and theyve been great to work with.

It sort of should be your responsibility to take them back to the hotel, I would think. Maybe a car just for the wedding party then, to keep the cost down.

I used a school bus. I used First Student and they were great. They even decorated the bus with wedding bells. It was the cheapest option I found ($468) for both ways and they were so helpful with getting everything on the bus and helping the older and handicapped relatives onto the bus.

We got a shuttle and a town car, a shuttle for the hotel guests and the town car for Us. We're not doing Limos either, I recommend looking into transportation companies/bus companies instead of limo companies who have shuttles but are usually more money.

Which one did you use?
I don't have a ton of out of town guests was more looking at something for wedding party only and we could just go with them since we're staying at the same hotel anyways

We're using Winston Transportation, They have all different options from Car to Van to Bus, nothing fancy, but affordable.

I would definitely at least get a car for you and FH. a town car at the very least. I heard it's not your responsibility for the bridal party and although I am providing a limo there for them and me and FH to take together I am not providing transportation home. I am looking into the option of shuttles but haven't made a decision yet.

I would definitely get at least a town car for you and FH, but in my opinion everyone else is on their own. I would never go to a wedding, either as a guest or as a member of the bridal party, and expect the bride and groom to be in charge of getting me home safe.
