My mom doesnt have a lot of money to spend on a dress and a lot of the MOB dresses can be pricey and many affordable too, we went to a store today and although she didnt want to wear black she found this dress that was soooo pretty and the detail on it matches the color of my bm dresses exactly, so that was nice. The price was unbelieveable but she only has 30days to decide, do you guys think its nice for MOB?The pics arent great, the bottom of the dress after where the flowers end is all sheer, and very flowy(hard to tell in the pics) which she liked for the summer.

she should go for it. My FMIL is wearing black. At first I wasn't thrilled, but it is very elegant, goes with everything and is flattering on everybody.

I agree, I like the dress, but I wouldnt feel it was dressy enough for the MOB to wear for the wedding. That would make a great rehearsal dinner dress though.

my mom is wearing black, originally the dress was suppose to be silver but when it came in, it was elephant grey. so my mom was not happy, so she found an even pretty dress and decided to play it safe with black. Her dress is fancy too so it looks really pretty, cause the beading stands out
The unbelievable price- is it unbelievably expensive or inexpensive. If it's expensive, shop around a little more and see if you find something else she might like. If it's inexpensive- go for it! It's a pretty dress.

At first I thought black wouldn't be good for MOB unless you had a black and white wedding. Then you said that the flowers on it match the color of the BM's dresses and I saw the pic...now I think it's great. BUT, it all depends on how dressy your wedding is. If it's a fairly casual wedding, then this dress would work for MOB. Otherwise, something a bit more dressy might be better.

Dont be sorry, I was actually waiting for someone to say that bc after we brought it home I did not feel it was dressy enough for MOB, i thought it was more something someone else would wear to the wedding,

Fantasia bridal in Rocky Point always has MOB dresses on clearance, you buy them off the rack, and they are between $35-150, my mom got her dress for $125 and its gorgeous!

I think its gorgeous.. perfect for a summer event... If she feels great in it go for it! and its a bonus that it coordinates with the BM dresses! Go for it she will look spectacular

If your mom feels comfortable and beautiful in the dress then she is going to radiate that the day of the wedding AND it will come through in her smiles in the pics.....

i think its a lovely dress-- but-- maybe not dressy enough for MOB-- but - that all depends on how dressy your wedding is-- if its on a saturday night I dont think its dressy enough-- but if its a day wedding I think she could pull it off.
