DH and I got those Swarovski toasting flutes at my shower ( BTW I heart them! ) We used them for our wedding and when we finally got around to unpacking them a few weeks after the wedding we saw that our hall have them back to us without cleaning them... No big deal right?
Well my glass still has on it PERFECTLY my lipstick impression from when I drank out of it during the toast.
DH and I are NOT drinkers and will probably never use them again. I want to display them in the house.. Do I was the lip impression off , or leave it on???

I would wash it off. You don't know what would happen to it over time, maybe collect dust and dirt, or even worse, you may not be able to get it off. Also, you may want to use them on your anniversary.

So sweet!!! I would leave it on definitely. Can you wash around it so they are super sparkly. Those are by far the most gorgeous flutes I had ever seen!!!

i'd wash it after taking a picture of it. the longer you leave it on there, the harder it will be to get off at all and it might start to look sort of gross after a while.

Great idea. Take a nice pic, matte and frame it like a professional shot and then wash it off and put the glasses and pic together somewhere!
