Need opinions on centerpieces

Ok -- so we're doing this whole 'tropical / tiki' theme

Im trying to figure which set-up looks best;

#1 Just placing the candle on table grouped together

#2 On a rectangular bamboo mat

#3 On a round rattan mat

**Note- the tag is just a trial - im having someone with better handwriting do them for me lol *

I think u need the mat....

are your tables rectangle or circle?

I would use the shape mat that corresponds to the shape table!

Personally I like the round mat best. What is going inside the tiki?

the mat shape really depends on the table shape...are they round...oblong....???

never mind I just read the shape....Is oblong then I feel like you could do either....but I think the rectangle one is better...

Its a tiki candle holder - - theres a white votive candle on top that you cant see in the pic

THe good thing about oval is that its a mix, so u can do either!

I happen to like the rectangle mat the best!

If u can go down to ur hall and bring the mat, or the whole CP. I used to always drop by my hall to the point they had to be sick of me!

I like the round mat. Second choice is square mat. Def do a mat tho.

I was thinking of actually going down when they had a table already set up to take a measurement of the available space. If i get the rectangular mat - i can always cut them down if i need to..

I like the rectangle mat best.

Just a note. We have oval tables too. They told me I cant make the CP round (hurricane and votives around it) b/c it won't fit. Remember you will have place settings, glasses, favors, bread, etc. all throughout the table.

I like the round mat best- I think also if you have round tables then the round mat would look good.

The round mat looks the most substantial.

To be totally and completely honest with you, I *really* don't like those fake leaves you have at the bottom ...

And unless you're going to have a professional calligrapher write out the tags, I'd suggest printing them out in a pretty font on the computer .... and then cutting them out into whatever shape you want.

I agree - I like the mat but it should go with whatever the table shape is...

I like the rectangular one best.

Also, I'm not sure if this was just a sample- but I think if you did a monogram- with some beachy tropical leaves, etc. in it and printed it out as the tag handing from the torch- that would add a nice touch!! Great job!!
