Ok, I'm having invitation issues......I am IN LOVE with an invitation made by Elite- but its sooooo expensive......I also found one by Birchcraft which is less than half of the price. They both have the element that I wanted which was bronze cardstock....I just love the color!!!
The Elite invitation is around $1,000 for 150 invites (including everything- response card set, lined inner envelopes, reception cards etc.). This is a 3 layered invitation.
The Birchcraft is around $420 for 150 of them!!! BTW- I would NOT include the ivory bow on the bronze 'band' on these- instead I would use a scrolly motif symbol thingy probably in a gold font.....I think it would look nicer.
So which do you like better? And if you like the Elite better would you spend the extra $600 on them?? Am I crazy for really wanting to splurge here?? that's how much I love them!!

Here's Birchcraft--- just remember that I would not get the bow but put a scrolly symbol thing in gold or natural font instead.
INSTEAD OF THE BOW, I CAN USE ONE OF THESE SCROLL MOTIF'S: (definitely not the deck of cards though!!

I would go with the Birchcraft, minus the bow. I think they're just as nice, and so much less expensive!

In my opinion - I feel that invitations are going to mostly get thrown away anyway, so I didn't want to spend the extra money for invitations. However, I do like the Elite ones better, but I think the for price they are a little too much. I would go with the Birchcraft ones - they are very nice too!

Birchcraft..sorry to jump on this board but 1k for any for of invitation is insane to purchase because remember its going to be thrown out.. only you and your parents will keep them and honestly I like the birchcraft better.

lol!!!! I would totally ditch the bow!! I would definitely go with one of their scroll thingy's instead. I think it would look a little more elegant w/o it. thanks!!!

i also honestly like the Birchcraft better..they are beautiful...and I agree with other posters that no one will keep them so i am actually trying not to go over 500 dollars for invites myself....good luck with whatever you decide...

i say go with the Birchcraft...the other ones are gorgeous but so are the birchcraft....I am looking to save the money on invites also...but i know some girls also say that it sets the tone of the evening...

I love 'em both but there's something about the Elite ones I like better. But if you decide to go a little cheaper, you honestly can't go wrong with the Birchcraft cuz they're beautiful too!
ETA: LITTLE cheaper? Am I out of my mind? ALOT cheaper!
FH insisted on staying within a budget for invites...he really doesn't see a point spending that on something that gets thrown away. But I understand how you feel when you really love something! You honestly can't go wrong with either! You'll just have more $$ to spare with Birchcraft!

I like the elite better but if the birchcraft is cheaper go for it...
either way you will not go wrong they are both very elegant & beaufitul!

I like the first one better, but for more than 1/2 the price, the second one is great...
Save the 500+ and buy yourself something amazing...take a spa day or something!

yep i think the scroll will look nice :)
ETS: i think what i dont love about the birchcraft is that the two white areas are separated. for example on the elite i think it looks much better to have the names just on the cardstock and not on the white background. i dont know if that made sense the way i explained?

I like the second one! Like many others said most people will just throw the invite out anyway and I think the second is just as pretty as the first!

I can't speak for you, but I would never spend so much on an invitation. My guests will like it but eventually, it goes into the garbage. If I had an extra $1000, or even $500, I would use it elsewhere in the wedding. Besides, at the end, I'll need more money than what I planned to spend anyway. Mayday
