I am thinking of what gift to give my maid of honor. If you were a moh what would you prefer:
1 - a gift certificate to a spa or 2- jewelry
It is my sister and she works full time and has two kids so I know she would love a relaxing day at a spa, but should the gift be something more sentimental and that will last a long time? Thanks!

I'd vote for the spa. You can always give her a picture of the two of you in a nice frame after the wedding so she will have something lasting.

For me, jewelry. Its not money that keeps me from going to the spa, its time! I got a gift certificate from my MIL a year ago that I still haven't used...
Which brings me to another suggestions, you want to give her a great gift? Give her the spa gif certificate along with a certificate for free babysitting provided by you!

The spa is an awesome idea especially with two kids and work. Maybe you can offer her to watch the kids while she is at the spa also.

I vote for jewelry simply because you said she has 2 kids and works full time...she has no time to go to a spa!!! I bought my best friend a gift certificate to a spa when she was prego....her daughter is 16 mos. old now and she still hasn't gone!

I think the spa is nice, b/c she can use the certificate whenever she wants. This will give her time to schedule the appointment and go when she can. I agree that you should offer to babysit while she's at the spa!

I say the spa.
Everyone says that she does not have time, but you have to MAKE time. My sister lives all the way down south , she has two kids and her husband is in the army. She makes sure that she gets her nails and hair done every week. It is hard, but she needs time for herself sometimes. I am guessing your sister does too.
I think she would really appreciate the thought with the spa gift.
Offer to babysit so she can go and enjoy herself!!!

spa... its not something she would normally buy herself... so i think its a nice treat. I would only go to a spa if someone sent me. But i always buy myself jewelry

if she has time for the spa then I vote for that, if you go with jewlery I think it would be nice to choose something she can wear all the time.
