Need Opinions: Tissue Taffeta UPDATED w/ Picture

What does everyone think about a dress that is Tissue Taffeta??

Honestly, I am not a fan of taffeta. That is just my opinion though.

i am not a fan of taffeta either...but again its JMO. If you really like it then go for it.

I LOVE it !!!! But only if it's in right color. I am having it in a medium blue and it is so nice. I like hoe it's lighter and shiney looking. It's also different

I guess it depends on the dress...can you post it? I like taffeta...I think it's a pretty material especially in the summer. My BM's are wearing a satin faced taffeta...In pink

I like Tissue taffeta. In fact, my dress is and so are my bm dresses. the colors look cool..almost iridescent and it's light and since my wedding is in august..it works well.

i think it depends on the dress and color. we're using tissue taffeta for the bm dresses and it looked nice in person and the girls like it. the material didn't seem to be as stiff as others and it was slightly shiny, but not too much.

I love it! My girls are having Tissue Taffeta dresses.....that exact dress you showed was considered, but it doesn't look too good for girls who have a chest....however it looked fabulous on my flat chested friend! But there are tons of other dresses in that line (bill levkoff tissue taffeta) that are so flattering! You can see 4 of them in my BM dress album (all 4 girls having different dresses in the Indigo Tissue Taffeta)

i LOVE IT.. i love the irridescent shimmer it gives off..what i can't stand is that satin-y looking stuff that many dresses are made of..

my BM's dresses are tissue taffeta.. and they look AMAZING.. nice, elegant, classy..

I love how some of the colors look in Taffeta but I think Satin looks neater...it's your decision though...you should pick whatever you like

there is a picture of my Mom trying on a dress in my album - it may have been taffeta - but im not sure - if it was than i love it

my gown is taffeta, my bms are wearing taffeta, and i think my mom is wearing taffeta.

that's a whole lot of taffeta...
and i love it.

there are people who HATE taffeta, and others who adore it. if YOU like it, go for it.
