I don't think anyone is going to be looking at the buttons.
I'd be less concerned about the amount of buttons than I would be about what that implies about the suits. Different suits/tuxedos (I'm assuming you meant you're doing suits instead of tuxes, right?) willhave different lapels, different materials, different textures.... I'd just be nervous in general about how they will all look next to each other,personally.

i think it would be alright.. if BMs can have different style dresses in the same color. i think the same should apply to the boys... as long as all the suits are the same color. (make sure 1 of them doesn't show up in some strange dark gray suit... hey.. boys will be boys...)

no one will notice except for you. trust me. we did something different for the guys--we bought them black vests and yellow ties, and we asked them to get solid black pants and solid white shirts. i was so annoyed when my BIL showed up in pinstripes the day of even though we stressed that everything had to be solid color. His pants were black but they were faded because he obviously wore them a lot. I was even more annoyed when I found out that the other two GM told him to change and he said 'I'm the best man, I get to stand out.' No one else noticed though and no one pointed it out in pics, but I was the only one looking for it in the pics.

ok so we are not doing tuxs. and we told the guys to go out and get blakc tuxes. now the guys told me that some have 3 buttons and some have 2 buttins. do u think it gunna look stupid in pictures??? my mom keeps saying its gunna look stupid but i dont know, its just buttons. now im stressing out.
