need photographer!!!

Okay we have been to Wedding group one, Imagine, Mark kaufmann and Bart stevens ( we didn't care for the last two) and we made an appointment with V.I.P. today. Can anyone recommend any one else along those lines of the same style photography? We just want to go to one more before we choose. So far we really like Imagine but my FH didn't like that you have to go with there videographer. Thank you!

Imagine and Wedding Group One each have a distinct style. Which one do you prefer?

What didn't you like about Mark Kauffman or Bart Stevens?

We are using Visual Concepts. They do excellent work. I have been very happy with them.

Can you describe what you are looking for in terms of style? I visited about 10 photographers when I was shopping but Wedding group one and Imagine weren't among them.

I chose Creative Compositions, and have recieved my proofs so I can certainly speak to their quality. I had high expectations, and they were exceeded. Creative Compositions is on the more expensive side though.

I know a lot of the Flowerfield brides love North Island or North Shore photographers. I never met with them. Also Verdi is similar to Mark Kauffman.
I booked Mark have had a great expensive working with him so far.

We're using Imagine Studios. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. My engagement pics were amazing.

LOL- I meant experience. But yes, I am spending a bit on photos

SO I guess $$$ is on my mind this week.

I would NEVER use a vendor who forced me to book another vendor thru them- such as Imagine Studios is trying to do. That would be a clear sign to me that their video guy cannot book his own weddings based on his skill level.

Fine Art Photography (Chuck is so nice - I took my engagement photos last week).

I am using them and I knoew 4 people who have used them and loved them!

we looked and looked aND looked, and choose Rick and Co. My sister used them and she was very happy as well as his pictures were so clear fiancee is afraid he is going to have to wear makeup! His photos are crystal clear, as well as creative. He can be seen online at www.liwedding.com. (DO NOT ADD THE s otherwise you will be on this website! )They are based out of Holbrook, it might be a shlep, but it was worth it. Good luck!

I also met with Imagine and Mark Kaufman. I really like Imagine and know 2 other people who rave about their work but they were already booked for my wedding day. I then found something in blue. They are a husband and wife team, check out their website somethinginblue.com, the price was reasonable too!. I love their creativity and they have been great to work with so far, I will do a review after the wedding 10/20. Good Luck!

Imagine does not force anyone to book their video, if you book their photographer. During their peak seaon it is a requirement that they are booked together..whether its a business decision or whatever they work best together who knows. They are a business and whatever works for them. so be it.

We booked them for both and was very pleased with everything. Nelson's coverage of our wedding day video was awesome...he was everywhere and he was very unobtrusive. For us it was a plus to have them working together on our day. They know each other's style and they do not get in each other's way.

I am also an Imagine Bride - I have picked up both my album and video and they are both wonderful. I honestly did not have great expectations for the video (any video) given the cast of characters in my group, but I was delighted with the results. You wont go wrong with Imagine for both photo and video.
