Is there anyone that can explain to me like I am a 6 year old how to take a color pic (me with my flowers) and make the pic black and white, and keep the flowers in color? I am using Photoshop Elements. Thanks!

not sure with photoshop elements but with photoshop, you want to desaturized (sp) the picture and then use the history tool brush what you want to be in color

Open up a photo and then make a new layer of that same picture. Turn that picture into black and white and then use the eraser button and erase the parts you want in color...
