No, that doesn't help, I am not getitng married until 2005! I am miserable now. Thank you for calling though!!

I haven't looked anywhere else yet. I was going to wait till the end of the summer but this place really grabbed my attention. I am gonna go back to not looking, i can't take the disappointment.

Come September I will start my hunt.

I am sorry. They still might do weddings after that. Maybe they will just have a new caterer. The lady I spoke to at Lovin Oven said that there should be someone there to talk to. Maybe they will have more info for you. But they are still open, still functioning and maybe a human who actually works there will be able to answer your questions and have some good news.

Good luck!

Kim: Dont be too disapointed. 200Fifth is beautiful but so are a lot of the options in NYC. And many of the alternatives are a considerably cheaper too.

I know, i just get my mind set on something and then get disappointed when it can't happen. I will have to talk to FI anyway to see if he even would want to get married in NYC.

Thanks for all the help girls!!!

Kim, also keep in mind when looking in NYC...
(I plan events in NYC, so I'm very familiar with lots of places)
so here's a little info from experience (please don't think I'm discouraging you!)

With some places like that you get 4 walls- and that's it. JUST the room.
No tables, chairs, dishes, silverware, glasses.... you have to RENT it ALL on top of the price of the room through their recommended people.
You won't get anything included. You have to source it all out. It can get very pricy. The people in those pics probably, no joke, paid $1 mil for all of that.

Once again, I'm not discouraging you in any way, but I just want to help you and to make sure you know.

Cheryl is right about some places. 200 Fifth is not like that..its full service so you pay one price for everything. Some NYC locations are space rentals, some are full service and some are somewhere in between. Same as in LI or anywhere else for that matter.

Oh no, thanks for the heads up Cheryl. I was actually aware of that but any extra info is more than welcome. I believe that chairs at this venue are included though. But you are absolutely right, museums and other type places do not supply anything.

Thanks again!
