Someone sent me a paper thru email as a microsoft attacment. I made changes to the document once I opened it. I then saved it. It is now two days later and I can't find it. When I open the attachment thru email, the original one pops up.

Re: Need QUICK COMPUTER HELP!!
Lotus Notes? Email program?
if so.. go to your C drive.. and Temp folder.. it may be in there.. It may or may not be named what you saved it so you might want to check by the date.
Lotus Notes, you have to use SAVE AS when changing an opened attachment. Which may I say I have always thought is stupid? I mean you click save and it seems to save, but it really doesn't.

Re: Need QUICK COMPUTER HELP!!
It was probably saved to your temporary internet folder, if you have a windows based system. Open the attachment from the email again and click on Save As, the file that you edited and saved before should be in that folder. Or, you can do a search on your hard drive (probably the C Drive) for the name of the file.

I did not send it back to her. I wanted to save it and print it later.
