We are getting married at St Hugh of Lincoln on New York Ave in Huntington Station. Our reception is in Island Park (Long Beach). We have children coming to the ceremony that will not be attending the reception. I would like to find a spot along the way to take a few pics with the kids and family before the children are dropped off at home. Does anyone know of a picturesque spot somewhere either in the town of Huntington or along Route 110 that we could take a few pics before heading to Long Beach for pictures so the kids could be included?

Farmindale college is on route 110. I know that some people take pics. there.

my grandparents were married and i was christened at st. hughs!!! what about some parks in amityville or lindenhurst?

There is a beautiful inlet in Cold Spring Harbor on Rt. 25A. From your church on NY Ave you would head north on NY Ave and make a left on main street (25A) in huntington village. Then head west and bear right after Genovese. You'll continue on that road for a few miles and then you'll come to Cold Spring Harbor village, this quaint little town, and on the right you'll see the inlet where boats dock. I'd love to have my pictures taken there but unfortunately its too far from my church and reception site.
