need rehearsal dinner venue

our wedding is at Jericho Terrace and our hotel is in garden city.... we need a place for our RH near the hotel.

We are looking for a more intimate setting, with a private room that will accommodate about 30 people.

Know of any places that will be good for this?

Jonathans on Jericho Turnpike in GCP - 742-7300 They have a semiprivate room, the service is excellent, the packages are pretty decent - I used to work there for 6 years....

Also.... Uncle Bacala's across the street - GCP as well - sorry don't have a number.

I have a few places in mind... I grew up in that area...


Try those two - if no luck - message me, and I'll give you a few more suggestions!!!

Davenport Press in Mineola has 2 private rooms, one is upstairs and private and has room for up to 40-50 ppl.

Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City has a private room downstairs and there is an area upstairs in the main dining room that they can block off for a private party.

Novita in Garden City has a private room downstairs or they can arrange the lounge area and/or front dining room for your group depending on the day/time.

Carltun on the Park in Eisenhower Park is also close, I went to look at their rooms (they have a # to choose from) and loved a few of them- especially the Gatsby Room.

We're having our RD at Davenport and my shower at Seventh St Cafe. Novita was booked for our dates for both but we go there often for dinner the food is excellent and they have a lot of private party packages to choose from.

Jonathan's gets good reviews, I haven't seen their private room.
