A friend of mine is taking another friend of mine on a date (first date) thursday night. What is a good restaurant (money normally doesnt matter with this guy) near or around exits 57 through 60 off the LIE?

We went to Butterfields in Happauge the other night and the food was good! It's not super fancy, but it's not really casual either!

H20 in Smithtown. Seafood rest but not only seafood. It's a great restaurant.

The Garden Grill in Smithtown....beautiful ambiance, delicious food. Or they could go down to Sayville (exit 57 S) and have dinner at Cafe Joelle...always one of my favs.

Sempre Vivolo in Hauppauge has some really great food. It's right on Motor Parkway.

momma lombardi's (next to villa lombardi's) and a small place is the Long Island Grill its on portion road. small place prices arent too bad, ambiance is nice and the food is great
