Tellers in Islip (wonderful)
Yea right, the food was good but we were asked to move to the bar because they needed the table. They had the chutzpa to come over to our table while we were finishing our dessert and tell us that they needed the table for another party, but they could put some tables together for us in the bar. They didn't even offer us a drink or anything. My boss took us out for our holiday party so ther were 6 of us. We all had appitizers and dessert and at least 1 drink. The bill must have been over $600 and we were asked to leave. We will never go there again. Not to mention, how can they charge $5 for a baked potaoe?

One of my favorite Long Island restaurants is Tupelo Honey -- it's in Sea Cliff on Roslyn Avenue. Very interesting 'fusion' cuisine, great decor with lots of mosaics everywhere! Also very expensive, though...

That is shocking. You would think a restaurant like that would not do something like that!

I like Cristina's in the Roslyn Claremont Hotel. Excellent food but a little pricey. We'll be going to Villa Monaco in West Islip - good Italian food.
