Ok so the RSVP date of my E-party is today and HALF of the guest list did not RSVP
I the party is at my house but I need to start shopping for things and ordering the food and cake so is it tacky to call everyone??

i find most people dont RSVP to things until the day of - i would give it a few days - they may have dropped a note to you in the mail or call you by monday

you can start calling people, its not rude. You can do it in a nice way of course lol so should be fine. You'll see many end up having to do this so dont feel bad

i think you should wait until monday to start calling. theres no problem with calling, but give them a couple of days to remember they forgot. lolol

I would say wait until Monday or Tuesday and then start calling. Even thought its at your house you need to know how much food/chairs/tables you need

Give a call... why not... do it in drips and drabs so you dont get like vicous..Im just saying when i have to call soo many people in a day I get short and snippy, prob just me hehe... If you call, be more relaxed like dont get right to the point... bs a lil ya know before you ask about if they are coming and all.

It's tacky not to RSVP! I say give them the weekend, then make some calls on Monday.

i agree about waiting another couple of days if you can.
you'll find that many people wait until the day of or the day before the RSVP date to put it in the mail.
i have no idea why they do this, but they do ....

I agree with everyone by waiting just a few more days... our e-party is @ my house too and I completely see where you are coming from with wanted to know! It gets frustruating!!! We are planning all this stuff and some people don't even have the decency to RSVP?!?!
