Need some advice....

Let's say you had to deal with a person pretty much everyday, and they were like a ticking time bomb because you never knew what was going to set them off, and everytime you did something to remotely annoy them (which could be something as simple as breathing), they jumped down your throat and acted nastier than anything you could ever remember...what would you do, how would you react? I have NO choice but to deal with this person

ummm you could write a journal detailing your dealings with 'her' and at least give us some entertainment

Wow that is a tough one. But there might be a day when you snap back at this person and they might actually back down.

I deal with someone like this every day of my life as well. And I mean, work closely with her day to day. Most of the time I find myself kissing butt just to get through the day which is annoying because that is soooooo not my style. But, I like you, have noticed that when I answer back, it only makes it worse.

She can be fine one minute and hell on wheels the next. Anything and I mean anything can and will set her off. I basically just always agree with her or dont talk to her much at all which is pretty hard most of the time.

If this person is anything like the pre-menopaused one I worked with, there is absolutely nothing you can do. I said good morning once and got screamed at. I just hope for your sake it doesn't turn out like my life, I got fired from a job where I knew the people for 7 years all because of this women. I am to this day still amazed by that. But have heard that they are finally seeing her true colors and are thinking they did the wrong thing. My best advice is say nothing, claim saw throat, works everytime

This, unfortunately, sounds a lot like my sister. I have learned to deal with her by not flying off the handle myself - it just adds fuel to the fire. I know it sounds mean but a lot of times I ignore her rants and raves because there is nothing I can do to stop them or change her mind.
