Need some advice about this vendor 'The Wedding Place'

Is anyone familiar with 'The Wedding Place' in Commack? I saw their website and called them. The owner Bob seems really great. But the pricing and the packages just seem too good to be true. I'm getting married in Port Jeff, but I live in Baltimore, MD. I'm going to drop by when I go home to see my family in June but I thought if anyone knows anything about them that would be helpful. Good or bad reviews, I'd rather hear it all. It's kind of hard planning the wedding from 5 hours away.

I would do a search on here. Plenty of past brides have had the same experience with them. Its true when they say, 'You get what you pay for'

It's the wedding center not the wedding place. You'll get quite a few results when searching for the wedding center in Commack.

I ordered my Bridesmaid dresses from them and they were fine. I would be weary of getting one of their packages though...

My mom ordered her gown from them because it was a good $200 cheaper. There werent any problems BUT she is not having the alterations done there.

There is alot of negative comments about the wedding center if you do a search. I don't thing I would trust the package deals.

BIG no to the packages - FSIL used them, and cried a LOT on her wedding day.

The photographers were especially *wonderful*.
