Need some advice- Bridal Shower - Long Island Weddings
I'm sorry you are going through that stress. I'm having issues with my MOH too but it's kind of opposite-she doesn't want to help with paying for any of it. She actually e-mailed me asking how much i plan to contribute after I e-mailed her the list!

So, I just wanted to update you all my MONSTER of HONOR is no longer in my bridal party and we are not on speaking terms. I plan on never speaking to her again. She was so rude and mean to me, cursed me out, and said she isn't coming to my bridal shower or wedding if my shower is in the backyard. I was so mad! GROW UP!!! UGH! People are freaking crazy! But, I am fine....i feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!

That's terrible that she reacted that way. I feel like this sort of stuff brings out the best and worst in people

I think people are taking these showers too far with restaurants, banquet halls and the like. Having your shower in a nice backyard is way more relaxing and unrestricted than any of these places. A lot of times, you are not even ready to leave at the requested time and you are looking for somewhere else to continue the fun which usually ends up in someone's yard so you might as well start it there.
Absolutely agree a million times.

I agree with the ladies here! Theres nothing wrong with a shower held in your backyard. I think it's intimate and has a nice relaxed feel to it. Some of the best showers I've been to was held at someones house! :)Welcome New Vendors
