first i want to say that this friend of mine is an awesome, sweet and a good person.
she is one of bms and wants to step down. im not giving too many details but i need some advice. we went last night to order her dress and we were treated horribly, (i wont same the name of the place) the seamtresses were extremely rude to her and myself. there is an issue with the bm dress i chose. all the other girls put the deposit down and were measured. she isnt comfortable in the dress and i even suggested changing the dress.
she doesnt want me to do that, or complain to the place about what happened. she also doesnt want to upset me or any of the other girls. so i dont know waht to do, she says she is ok with stepping down and will be involved with all other aspects of the wedding but walking down the isle. i feel horrible and dont know what do to... i want her to be involved with everything.. any suggestions?? thanks for listening ladies

OK well you have to just go to her and be HONEST! Tell her exactly what you just said- that you want her to be involved in everything... Have along talk with her about it. Im sure she will appreciate your honesty and she'll be flattered...

This is hard, because I am sure that she feels bad backing down and she seems to be really upfront with you. It seems that she wants to be a part of your day, but maybe she does not feel comfortable wearing the dress. It depends on how you will feel if she decides to step down, do you understand why she is doing it or are you really hurt?

I would let her decide what she wanted to do, if she has a valid reason why you should understand.

Can she go to her own seamstress and have them make alterations so that she is comfortable?? You can even go to a local dry cleaner, if you don't know anyone. They usually have a seamstress on site. I don't think she should back out b/c of the dress and the seamstress. This happened to me 1 week before my friends wedding and that's what I did. GOOD LUCK.
