Need some advice please!! UPDATE

i emailed a vendor about purchasing her services for the wedding. it is for ceremony music. she told me the date was open and that she would send me the contract. 1 week went by and no contract. i emailed her again and she apologized and said she would send it again and email me a copy as well. Again, 1 week later and no contract!

i emailed her 2 days ago- she has not emailed me bakc yet.

i am starting to feel like this is not meant to be.

should i just forget it and look for another company?

I think so. I wouldn't trust a vendor to show up to my wedding if they can't remember to send the contract!

Definately look for another company. Consider your experience to be SIGNS.

I would agree with Mistyeyed.

There is a vendor that advertises in all the bridal magazines for invites. They are the cheapest I have found. I sent them my request for an estimate for my invites 2x via fax. I called the woman 2x and she said she got them. The last fax sent was on 6/4. I will not wait for them or even continue to try to get them so I can save $200. I rather be safe than sorry and not be cheap and regret it.

find one who pays more attention to you

I agree with Mistyeyed too - find another vendor. You don't want to deal with this kind of flippancy once it gets closer to your date - OR on your wedding day.

I think you and I may be dealing with the same vendor..I have been waiting for a contract as well and have called and sent emails...I get NOTHING...I am definately NOT booking them now..their price was awesome..but they probably wouldnt show up for the wedding....will you FM me the name of yoru vendor? I will bet we are talking about the same one!

run in the next direction, what if she does not show up, a business person being so lax, no way honey. You do not want to chance that at all. PS she should be hunting you down not the other way around

I would find someone else. Since it happened twice I would definately look elsewhere.

my theory is - if the vendor doesn't even have the sale yet and they're being this unprofessional - what is going to happen once they have your money????

I would not use her...obviously the business is not a priority to her and I dont think you want that type of vendor working with you.

so the vendor that i wanted just emailed me and apologized and told me that she had written the wrong zip code on the contracts. she sent me the contracts via email and thanked me for my patience.

i have heard so many great things about this vendor-maybe i was just being a little bit impatient?
