Okay so as many of you may know i dont get along with our Best man's Fiance but, i invited her to my bridal shower. Now my mom gave us a limit of 25 people, my FMIL had 22 so that left me 3 slots for Best mans fiance, my 2 gf's, so the other day i get an instant message from Bm fiance asking if Best mans mom and sister were invited ? so i said no i was limited on my guest count so i had to scale down ( also im not 100% that they are invited to the wedding) so she goes oh ok, well i might have my Gf 's engagement party on the 20th or 28th (28th is the date of my shower) so i go okay, she goes i will let u know! that was 2 days ago, today she instant messages me again and says i cant make it to ur shower, so i say well okay i know its a busy weekend for people graduations and parties, (expecting her to say its her GF's party , but now she says do i have to call the number on the invite or just tell u! i go no its okay ill tell my mom she goes thanks and signs off!! *** sorry but i think its a bunch of bull ****! because i didnt invite people she could gossip with she cant come and shower me with happiness !! f**** it im done im not inviting her to anything else!! am i wrong for feeling this way! i know we are not friends but to me it very disrespectful! especially since i knew she isnt coming for sucha stupid reason!! sorry so long im just annoyed i have kept this bottled up but i cant anymore!!

Well, considering that the two of you really don't get along, then count your blessings she won't be there. Maybe you can invite someone else instead.
I totally get what you are saying about the situation though. I have the same thing with FSIL. Let's just say I'm used, abused and thrown out the door. She uses me to cry her eyes out about her life and stuff, uses me when she needs something, and also craps on me any way she can.
I was in the same predicament as you when it came to my birthday....she couldn't come out to dinner and hang out with friends because she had $5 bucks to her name (SUPPOSEDLY)...WELL, she is now planning a christening party for 85 people at a country club....so needless to say, I had a better time without her there.
Enjoy your shower with your TRUE friends and the ones that are truly happy for you. Don't let someone like this get to you. Easier said than done I know.

I dont think you are wrong at all .. it sounds like she just didnt want to go because she would be alone so thats that ... honestly, its not like its your FSIL, its only your BM gf, so I wouldnt worry about it.. how often do you guys hang out together?

i have not physically seen here in almost a year!! its just drama filled all the time!! and FH hasnt seen his bm before last month in 9months ! he doesnt get that these people arent friends!! yet holds on to them because he is a worried they will run aroung talking crap to people in town!! who give a **** we will be moving soon anyway!! im so sorry girls im cussing this has been going on for over a 1 and a half, its just constant bull and to top it off Fh isnt even in there bridal party! so obviously adam they dont care about u that much!! err!! thanks girls!!
