Need some encouragement

So today was the last straw at work. I have been unhappy since the day I started there back in Jan and have been trying to hang in there until the wedding to avoid wedding+jobhunting stress.

But I can't do this anymore. I requested my last 3 personal days off next week (they won't get paid out to me if I leave) and canceled my 401k so my last few paychecks will be more $$. I am going to resign on Aug 21st so my last day will be in Sept and I will have benefits for Sept and get paid for labor day.

My stomach hurts, I have never quit a job without something lined up before. I am so nervous that I won't find something.

Need some hugs!

dont worry everything will be fine...sometimes u have to think about what you really want and you may not have another job lined up, but u definitely will have one very soon. So don't worry keep ur head up, things will work out in the end!

I am sure everything will work out and you will find a new job soon. It is not worth it to stay somewhere that doesn't make you happy. There is enough stress while planning a wedding, you don't need you job to add any more.

If it was really that bad, you needed to get out. Something will come along, just really put your effort into finding something you like. Good luck

When you are ready, you will find your next job.

At times, you just need some time off from working.

hang in there!!! I just went through that a few months ago, I ended up at a job that I really enjoy!!! its hard but in the end it is soooooooo worth it!!!!! i highly recommend looking on craigslist and carrerbuilder (through newday. com) Good luck!!!!!

kind of going thru similar situation now...i am taking vaca next week to look for a new job and figure things out (and enjoy my sis 'lilangel';s wedding on the 18th @ swan club!!)

don't worry about a thing. if your gut feeling is that this job isn't right for you then go with that. god gave us those instincts for a reason and he wouldn't let them steer you wrong

i've been there before. it was scary but just send your resume out to everything out there. both fax and email the resume. you'll find something before you know it!

Everything will work out. Stay positive and network. There are a lot of people on here maybe somebody knows of an opening in your field or something. Good Luck!!
