So The Crescent doesn't just give you a list of foods/dishes to choose from. You can pick anything. If you want chicken stuffed with tomatoes and mozz you can get it. So FH and I have to go to pick our menu next weekend and we need some ideas. So far for the CH we are thinking: Cheese/fruit station Pasta Station (with some seafood) Carving Station Mashed potato bar Mexican station (tacos etc)
Passed items for CH (need 8): 2 types of sushi rolls crab cakes some type of meat skewar mini Quiches
Dinner: Filet Mignon Fish (maybe salmon) Vegetarian (we have no idea what) Chicken (maybe stuffed with priscutto and cheese)
So do these ideas sound OK to you? Do you have suggestions for prepartion of the meal items? or additional passed h'orderves or CH stations?

Re: Need some food ideas
for pass arounds we're doing
coconut shrimp Baked clams chicken & beef Satay bacon wrapped scallops little hot dogs (although FH was against this, everyone requests these) Portobello Fries crab cakes quesidallas veg. spring rolls baby lamb chops ( we move these to the grill station)
Stations we're doing:
Pasta -- mushroom ravoili, pasta primavera Paella (sp?) -- with guacamole chips, salsa, cerviche, baked mussels Grill -- baby lamb chops, baby back ribs and steak Asian -- peeking duck, mogolian beef, dim sum Italian -- fried calamari, chicken scaprello, eggplant rolotini Sushi Bar Seafood Bar Tuscany table -- veggies, cheese, fruit, etc.
We made sure to have enough vegetarian options because we know quite a few people don't eat meat.
For the veg. meal we are doing grilled vegetables wrapped in philo dough with basmati rice. You can also do like some sort of ravioli (butternut squash, mushroom, etc) Veg. Lasagna.
