have to choose between two photobooth companies... one is digital and the pics might not last past 5-6 years cause of chemicals and fading on the digital photo paper, but the pics come out within 2 minutes. the other is the old school 'dip and dunk' which last forever, sometimes getting yellow after many years, but it takes about 3-4 minutes to come out once the pics are taken. Help! Which one do i choose.... I'm kinda leaning towards the dip and dunk one, but i'm afraid it might take too long to come out and people will get impatient? am i being nuts?

That's a hard decision. I think I would go with the faster one. If you have a few pics you love, you can always scan them. Then you'll have them forever!

there is a price difference but my mom offered to pay for it (so friggin awesome!!!) since it's going to be our guest book too (2 pics will be taken from the ones they take)

hmm, i would choose the one that lasts longer. People will be too busy talking to one another to notice that they have been waiting 3 min for a picture.

I would go with the one that is faster....If it was me I might pass up signing the guest book if I saw a line of people crowded around....then I'd probably forget to go back to it. I like the scanning idea too !! I thought those photo guest book pictures are for you to keep anyway....so you can always make a point to scan them & print them out.

I'd say people will get impatient if it's 3-4 mn or a line will form and then some will skip it to go dance or something instead.

^^ But then they might come back when the line is smaller. People like fun things like that and won't forget. Also, 2 and 3 minutes is not much of a difference.
