Need some help, please

For you gals...

Does anyone know where I can find a 1600w hairdryer??? I went to Ulta yesturday and all they have is 1875w, but that will blow my circuit breaker (according to my dad, that should blow anyone's circuit breaker). It was an emergancy, so I had to buy one immediately, so tomorrow I am drying my hair on the warm medium setting, but I still have reservations. I would still prefer to have a 1600w but I can't seem to find one. For some God awful reason manufacturing companies insist on just making 1875w dryers. Any ideas? I know this is a stupid question, but I don't have time to drive all over town looking for something it seems like no one makes anymore. Anyone know?

Do you have a Sally Beauty Supply anywhere near you? I know the last time I was in there, they had a ton of dryers. I would call them first, they've always been very helpful anytime I've called and needed something.

Is it just me, or is Ulta lacking lately? I'm closest to the commack one, and my sister works there. It just seems like everytime I really need something, it 'may be in the shipment this week'. oh well. Good luck w/ the dryer shopping.

I am sooo disgusted!

I had to go to Ulta.com to get a hairdryer. If I would have been able to buy it at the store it would have only cost about $16, but becuase I have to get it shipped to me I paid $23 and change! AND I will not have it for a few days!

I go to the Commack one also. They never have anything useful! I don't understand how I can get it online, but not in the store!

I tried using the dryer I got on a medium setting, not only was it not even hot enough...I had to go to work with wet, curly hair...and I hate my hair curly...but sitting in my sub zero office w/ a wet head when I am not feeling well to begin with makes me mad .

All of this fuss about about a hairdryer...
