I have long oval tables and we are doing all tall centerpieces. I love the way they look and Flowers by Burton has made it possible for me to afford :)

FH niece had about 3 or 4 potted hydrangeas inside a rectangular wooden box painted nicely. Had the florist set it all up. Looked great.

I'm planning on doing a centerpiece like this but having decided b/c my tables are round, if my tables were oblong I would do it w/o a doubt. I like the candles around the centerpiece too.
