need some help with centerpeices... - Long Island Weddings

we are doing high/low centerpiece and we have long oval tables.. the low centerpieces are longer and would look nice on oblong tables... the tall centerpieces will have tealights around it to make it look nicer on the tables.. you could really get any high centerpiece you want, and dress it up with tealights and stuff to make it look like they take up more room

We have the same table shape. We decided to go with low centerpieces but we are having them built out of the vase to make them look longer and to fit with the table shape.

this! adding tea lights or other small candles or even big gem stones scattered around would add a little more to the longer tables

need some help with centerpeices... - Long Island Weddings

I just wanted to say if you are struggling with centerpieces you are not alone. I have been in that battle for 6 months and have just started to find something I sort of like. I will say I went to flowerfield today to look around again for ideas and they had oblong tables out. They had a low centerpieces in this square type bowl it looked very pretty!

I have oval tables and decided I wanted low centerpieces. The pic of my centerpiece is in my wedding stuff album. The vases and votives are spaced out so they cover the length of the table. There will be flower petals scattered as well.

Re: need some help with centerpeices...

I'm putting mine together myself but they look fabulous and they are not expensive. I doing a 'runner' of small beveled edge mirrors and topping them with all different candles. some floating, some pillars, some in various height holders and tea lights. I'm debating putting vases with flowers in them as we'll.. I love the candle light.

I'll try to find a pic, but honestly they're better in person.

ETA: I'm doing oval tables

Re: need some help with centerpeices...

Here you go! The small orbs will have water in them to float the candles. I'll light it once I get the next shipment of candles so I know there's enough lol. I debated using flowers in a center cylinder but I think I like the all candle look for now. Hope this helps!

And FYI I 'may' have spent $500 and that's for 20 tables. But it only works if you love candles like i do lol!
