need some help with place cards

with some of your inputs and creativity.. i think i have decided to go with the idea of stone place cards - just trying to figure out how i would display them.. what do u think of using a waterfall or something like it... here are some pics of ideas

look in my album for other pics also of the actual stone placecard cant get in this message for some reason :)

ohhhh, i see them now. What a great idea! I like the photo in your album (the last one). Have you spoken to your florist about this?

that was my other question.. you think the florist would be able to do this and set it up? i actualyl ahve to go to the florist today to drop off my next payment.. so i was going to ask him

A BIG waterfall behind these stones would be nice but not sure where you can get that. He should be able to set it up for you. Def let him know before you give him the deposit

here is my other question... because we are getting married at crest hollow which already has a huge waterfall outside.. do u think its too much???

I don't think so. In fact, I've never seen rock placecards and would think it's an incredible idea if I was at a wedding that had them. Very original!!! Talk to your florist for ideas. I'm sure he can help you out.

you could get a bunch of stones and do exactly what is in your album. or you could paint them to match eachother and write on them w paint marker, or lable them w labels depending on what color u make the stones. its a great idea and its not too much w the waterfall outside of crest. Crest is a beautiful place. enjoy !!!!

I love the first pic or the pic of the stones in ur album...you are going to have a very beautiful and unique wedding I love all the ideas!

What a creative idea....very original.How about a box with small gravel?? with flowers and candles. I would run it by the florist, they would be able to mock something up for you. Good LUck

thanks ladies, I just got back from meeting with flower michelle and john said that they do not do any of the place card set ups or anything that crest hollow does.. so i think i am going to have to just play around with some ideas.. and explain it to crest hollow..

are you florist helping with place card tables?

I really like the idea-its very unique. Our hall is doing the place card set up too-what if you had someone in your family take care of it and make sure it gets done properly or the way youd like it done.
Just an idea.

Otherwise, i think its a fantastic idea-Im excited to see what it looks like when you are done!
