Re: need some help with wording
I think it's good, I would leave out the price of rooms on the card and say 'for a wedding party rate'..let the hotel tell them or you tell them verbally. I'm not a fan of dollar amounts on a card paired with an elegant invitation.Maybe just have the price on your website..

fh agrees with you ... my fear is that people call to reserve and forget to say they are a part of wedding group and not until they hear the price do they say to the operator wait i thought it was 199 , ya know... i fear this bc it happened to my friend she needed a min of 20 rooms to get free shuttle and she had it but since so many people forgot to say they were a part of the wedding group all her guests were left stranded

I would then tell your guests verbally to ask you. Maybe put 'for rate info, call Dana or FH'...I think its better etiquette to verbally tell a price to someone over something in writing. When my friend blocked hotel rooms, when we called to block rooms we just asked when we called. Wouldn't the out of towners ask anyway?

Re: need some help with wording
I think it is fine as is. I'm strictly business lol, so I don't see any problem with stating the rate.Unfortunately, people as a general rule are dumb, so I tend to agree with your fear that if you leave out the info and don't spell it out, there's more of a chance of it being forgotten, getting screwed up, etc. I think it will save you time, trouble, and stress to just state it now, rather than send people to the web to find it, and older people may not be web savvy, and then it starts a phone tag situation and snowballs.
