Need some opinions....

I'm a chef and I've always wanted to be a pastry chef, but it's very hard to get a pastry position. I applied for one a while back, but I never heard anything. I ended up taking a banquet chef position at the Sheraton and I love the job! I've only been there for about two months now, but it's great.
I just received an e-mail from the place that I applied to for the pastry chef position saying that they've been trying to get in touch with me and they wanted to know if I'm still interested. Should I look into the job, because it's something I've always wanted to do, or should I just not even bother and stick with what I'm doing now? Any opinons are appreciated! Thank you! Sorry this is a little long...

I say look into it....just so you never have to wonder 'what if.....'
and if it's something you have always wanted to do - it can't hurt!

Definitely look into it. I think you will regret it if you don't. Especially because you've always wanted to try it and because they are hard jobs to come by. Sometimes that's the way it works, you get one job, then the one you really wanted comes along. Happened to me a couple of times and each time I went with the job I really wanted and was always happy I did.

I think that if it is something you have always wanted to do then go for it!!!!!

This is the story of my life!!! I always feel so torn about jobs because I'll be happy in one place, and something else comes along...I would look into it. There's a lot to consider. Salary being one of the most important...Shana's right, Doesn't Hurt to Look.
