So I will be having our wedding ceremony and reception at the Fox Hollow. I'm going back and fourth will just getting my hair and makeup done at home and then getting dressed there. Another idea is to stay the night before at a hotel and get shuttled over. Or should I just dress at home and get a Limo?????

Why don't you just stay at the Fox Hollow's hotel? That way you can get ready there and just walk over!

Re: Need some opinions
I am getting married at the Fox Hollow and I am staying at the hotel the night before. We aren't getting limos so I think it's easier to just be there and get ready the day of. My MOH and a few OOT's are staying the night before also so we'll probably do dinner and hang out at the Inn the night before. If your hair and makeup people are coming to you it doesn't matter if they go to your house or the hotel.

Well the bridal suite at the Fox Hollow hotel is a little pricey I think. We are getting it for free our wedding night though. I think the amount I would pay for the hotel would be more money than the limo lol. A friend recommended staying at the woodbury executive inn the night before. She had a 2 floor suite and it was less than $200.00. Where are you blocking your rooms for your guests? Fox Hollow??? Or somewhere more reasonable for your guests?

I wanted to get ready at home...I didnt want to have to worry about forgetting anything that day so I felt like if I was home it was all there! Do what makes you most comfortable...if the hotel is more than limos, id probably go with a limo! JMO

We can't afford the fox hollow hotel (but they are giving us a room for our HM) - so we are staying at the best western down the street to get ready. they offer a free shuttle service too!

I don't have too many OOT's but I have a few family members coming and staying the night before and the night of my wedding. I am probably going to block rooms at Fox Hollow because if we book 10 rooms we get another night free (besides the wedding night - that's free anyway) and we have to guarantee them 7 to get the block price I already have 5 or 6 rooms that I know will be booked. I am not blocking rooms in the Best Western or Exec Inn but I plan on putting their info in the save the dates so that people will have a choice and not think that the only hotel is the Inn because it is pricey.
Also, the guy Ray from the Inn at FH told me he was lowering the prices in September so I'm not sure what they went down to I'm going to book the block probably this weekend so if you want I will let you know.

I'm having my reception at the Fox Hollow, but my ceremony at a church by my parent's house. We are getting ready home, going to the church, and then to the Fox Hollow via Limo. If you are having the reception there, I think staying there (or nearby) is easier. HTH

Re: Need some opinions
Great thanks! I'm going tomorrow to give our deposit, so I will inquire about the hotel prices when I go!!! Thanks guys!! I've heard good things about the Executive Inn with after parties/bar area. I want my guests to enjoy themselves after the wedding ends at 6pm. They said its ok to hang out at Fox Hollow after, but I feel like they may be a little more strict because it is a little more upscale.
