Need Some Prayers

Hi Girls,

I am not one to ask for much... but FFIL is very ill, he is in ICU. To make a long story short- he has been battling what we thought was a cold for about a month now… but he hasn’t’t been able to really breathe well or talk for that matter... and it just got worse. Taking doctors orders he went to the hospital and they admitted him right away, tried steroids and a breathing machine … but nothing works… so they sedated him and had to intubate him... When he woke up he tried to pull the tube out so they knocked him out agin…. He was out of sedation yesterday but still cant breath and cant talk... so today they will be doing a tracheotomy as well as a biopsy of a large mass that was discovered on his esophagus and lungs.

The doctor suspects the masses are cancerous - as he is a severe smoker (like 3-4 packs a day). To further complicate matters he does not have insurance...- least of our worries right now- but we have to face that issue eventualy...

It's just been a tough few days...and could use some prayers, positive vibes... whatever you want.
