A nurse I work with at work had a horrible tragedy last week in her family and I cant think of anything to really do to help her but pray and I was hoping that maybe there would be strength in numbers...
Her 16yr old granddaughter was crossing Pennisula Blvd. and was hit by an escalade(terrible accident no fault of the driver)she was thrown into the air and is now in a coma. She has a broken pelvis, needed a blood transfusion and the doctors are saying from the EKG it shows that even if she does survive she has brain damage. I believe this happened tues that just past. There has been no change since. Please if you could send this child and her family some prayers. If there is any change I will let you know.

Thanks! Like I said I wish I could do more. Her grandmother is supposed to be coming back to work on Thurs. and I just dont know how to approach her without upsetting her. I've already talked to her on the phone right after it happened and asked if there is anything I could do and let her know if there was anything she needed to call. It's just going to be akward at work if she comes back Thurs.
