need some prayers please! (sorry kinda long)

ok ladies amongst all the craziness of moving my FFIL has gone back into the hospital FH would prob be mad if he knew i was posting this but i just realyl beleive that alot of thoughts and prayers really help (example my father) anyway heres his story...

Mothers day weekend ok 05 (i think i cant remember but its been quite a while)FFIL fell off an 18 ft ladder and broke his femor. they rushed him to good sam where they had no clue what to do thats what the told him and did a proceedure of placing a metal plate on one side of the bone and wraping the femor with metal wire.. well it seemed great a few weeks later the wire had come loose and they needed to re do the surgery they went in and tightend the wires and yet again they came loose. so his parents went to Sloan in manhatten and got a new opion and well they beleive that they just needed to remove the wire and let the bone heal naturally.. so they went in a 3rd time to romove all the metal that was put in (on a side know FFIL has a metal knee replacement in the same leg which just complicates things since hes had it for 20 years) ok so they remove all the metal and as hes about to be released to come home they find out he has a serious bone infection called osteomillitis (sp?) and needs to be placed on IV antibiotics well they put in a pick line (which is a permant iv line) and do a 6 week round of anitbiotics wel it didnt work so they tried again.. still didnt get rid of the infection they find out that its clinging to the metal knee replacement and the infection wont go away till they take the kneen out.

fast foward to jan. 07 he goes in for the surgery the plan is to remove the knee replacement and the lower part of the femor and put in a plastic spacer (which is to float untill the infection is gone) so the man is not left with NO KNEE AND HALF A FEMOR and some plastic in the middle. GREAT NEWS after that the infection is gone and we are all relieved. he goes in for yet another surgery to put in a new knee replacement and is progressing well. While working around the house on firday we get a call that FFILs leg is oozing really bad they call the doctor hes in Cali on a confrence he tells him to go to the hospital so they can test the fluid well turns out ITS ANOTHER INFECTION!!!! so he was admitted lastnight and has to have yet another surgery to remove the infection. We are all very worried that he may lose the leg or something worse. he is scheduled to have the surgery either tonight or early tomorrow so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep him in your thoughts and prayers im sorry this is so long hes just been through the mill and i pray that this will be the end.
