I'm really sorry she is going through this. I'd be getting a 2nd opinion because it doesnt seem like these doc's know what going on.
the fetus is sooo tiny at this point that maybe it was just a clot she passed. I remember from college that at 5 weeks, they are only about the size of a sesame seed.
