Need some wording advice on donation favor.

Need some wording advice on donation favor.

Morning ladies! So I am out of my 'defeated' mood and in full wedding planning swing.

I was talking to FH about favors and decided to do donations to the ADA. Diabetes is very prominant in our families, so we think it is very fitting.

We're a little confused about the wording. We would love to say that the donation is 'In honor of...' Unfortunately there are so many that have passed away because of complications with diabetes that it would tough to list all.

I loked up wording online but everything I find is generic and not personal at all. Any suddestions, poems, wording?

Sorry long, thatnks girls!!!

When you make the donation, see if ADA sends you the favor cards...Guide Dog Foundation is sending us premade favor cards.

You could write something like this:

Because you have shared in the joy of our day, a donation to the ADA has been made in your name. Many people we have loved in our lives have suffered from Diabetes and we hope to bring awareness to others.

Thanks for the suggestion. Can I change it to..

'Many people we love have suffered and continue to battle with Diabetes and we hope to bring awareness to others'

Or is it a bit much?
