Need spray tan help!!

Okay so I am 9 days out and my skin is just starting to stop peeling from a sunburn, but I would really like a little more color for my wedding. I really am not a fan of spray tans but I think that's prob my only option now. I am afraid if I go in the sun I'll just start peeling again. So I need a rec for a REALLY good spray tan. It has to be natural looking!! I live in Bayport and work in Smithtown so anywhere in either of those areas? TIA

I would be really careful if i were you. You really need to exfoliate before you spray tan normally. If you're starting to peel and get a spray tan you might be left with white blotches.

I completely agree...you could end up looking a splotchy mess if your skin isn't completely smooth. If you've never had a spray-tan before, days before your wedding is not the time to start! The white dress will make your skin look more tan anyway, so I would leave well enough alone. . And resist the urge to lay out in the sun too much...my mom looks like a red lobster in her 1960s wedding photos because she went to the beach to get more color the day before her wedding and got a sunburn! She said my grandmother wanted to kill her... LOL. You will be beautiful and glowing exactly the way you are!

Thanks! I know it would be a mistake to do any kind of tanning but I can't help thinking a little sun won't hurt. I will have to stay strong and resist the urge!!

If you get a spray tan or 'spritz' as my friends and I call it, definitely get an airbrush. DO NOT USE MYSTIC!!!! (More than likely you'll end up streaky, blotchy, and orange) And as said above exfoliate your skin before you go and also shave your legs the night before not the day off because otherwise it may burn alittle lol. I go to European Image in Oceanside, but that is kind of far. Beach Bum has a pretty good repuation, I have been the Beach Bum a few times in Oceanside too, but EI is cheaper and does a great job so I go there. I think there is a beach bum in Stony Brook. I think you'll be fine.

Its a bit far but totally worth it, I've never seen a more natural looking spray tan, my friends have used them for their weddings and events, Ma*ximus hair salon in nassau, they have two locations, they do spray tans and its amazing..absolutely check them out..

Personally don't love beach bum spray tans..some come out looking orange.

I just got a spray tan for my epics. I got it done at Brazil Bronze because I had a gift certificate from LIW. It was well worth it. I didn't exfoliate at all. I went with the natural glow and it looked great. I have my epics on Angel Project Photographys facebook page if you want to see. I will say I did get a little scared at first because when you first get sprayed it looks dark. But I got the express tan and she told me to wash it off after 2 hours and it looked great.

You NEED to exfoliate if you are going to get an airbrush tan, especially if your skin was just peeling recently. Going with the lightest shades they offer may be a good idea because the white dress really will bring out the color.. and you don't want it to bring out the orange haha. Don't put on any makeup or moisturizer before you go. I usually go to beach bum in Stony Brook and I've never had a bad airbrush from there. I would get it two nights before our the morning before and DON'T use DOVE soap! It wreaks havoc on spraytans.
