We are throwing a retirement party for my dad in October.
I'm looking for a VFW or KoC hall that has parking in Nassau and/or Queens.
Can anyone suggest a good place?!

I just went to a party at the Lynbrook Elk's Lodge, there was plenty of parking and the room looked pretty spacious (but i was in a party that had a smaller room w/ like 40 people).

I checked out the Elks Lodge. Unfortunately, they were booked on the date that I needed (Oct. 18th).

the Vulcan firehouse has a small lot and plenty of street parking..is in Lynbrook as well. believe its $400 which includes chiars/tables and fountian drinks. plus you can use any outside caterer.

I have heard that the one in Oceanside is the nicest one on the island and the one in Franklin Square where I grew up has like two parking lots...I just went to an e-party in Malverne and it was really nice.

The Knights of Columbus in Oceanside is very nice. We actually went there when we first started looking at halls.
Verdi's in Westbury btw was very reasonable. I'm not sure what night of the week you were planning the part but if I remember correctly it was Mon - Thurs $55/pp, Fri $65, Sat $75 & Sun $65 /pp ... might be less for a different type of event... that's just what I was qouted for my wedding when I was there. You know how all these places charge more for weddins
