Re: Need suggestions for MOB dress salons.
Cathy's in Lindenhurst has a great MOB selection. My mom got her dress there with no problems (also got her MOG there when my brother got married a few years ago).

SugarPlum in Lynbrook. My moms gown is just breathtaking! We have had no problems so far. My grandmothers and Fi's grandmother did very well at TotallyYou in Wantagh. Another great place for MOB dresses

Re: Need suggestions for MOB dress salons.
I too am looking for a MOB dress for my daughter's wedding. I will start off by saying Filly's in Albertson is just terrible! I never saw such rude salesladies and although most gowns were very expensive, I did find a couple I might have considered. I had five or six dresses in my ARMS, and still no one would lift a head to offer help. I walked into a fitting room on my own as two and three ladies were helping one customer and another was walking around chatting to another. When I very politely (that's just me, and it gets you no where!) wanted to know about colors, I was told they were helping people 'who wanted to shop', and I would have to wait. If salespeople can't be bothered to help you when you are looking for a dress, imagine what it would be like once they get your deposit?
The ladies in Bridal Accent on Glen Cove Rd. between Northern Blvd. and the Expressway were very nice and generously offered their help.
Cheryl, would you tell me about your Mom's gown please. Who is the designer? Is there a photo of it online? Did they have a large selection in SugarPlum?
I will be checking out a couple of shops in Bayside and Flushing, as well as Bridal Reflections. I am anxious for more responses to this thread. I see finding the perfect MOB gown is not going to be easy.
Thanks.

Re: Need suggestions for MOB dress salons.
my mom has had great experiences at lillettes and bridal reflections massapequa. both times she did not have an appointment and they let her try on dresses. each place was equally nice and helpful.
