need suggestions for the following- please help if you can!!!

invitations- need a place or website... want something elegant, simple but not too much $$$

tuxes for grooms- need a place in nassau county.. i have heard many negative comments about certain ones.

bm shoes- place with diff styles- they have to also get theirs dyed.

bride shoes?

bparty gifts-
ny new creative suggestions?

any advice will be appreciated!

Kathy from Follow Your Heart (vendor on here) has invitations to fit any budget and any style. She is wonderful to work with.

I second party city..I bought them cheap..and regular people carried them. Lindas lovelies is a vendor on here, she carries them..lots of places do..they just happen to be 30% off at party City. Mine are made by Birchcraft!

I bought my shoes at DSW - they have a bunch of styles and designers (Kenneth Cole, Stuart Weitzman, Dyeables). They don't dye there but you could bring them to any shoe place that dyes.

Haven't done invitations yet - haven't been able to find anything I love yet.

BM gifts...I'm giving each of them a different Tiffany necklace and a few other things, not sure of yet. FGs will get a Tiffany necklace too and a couple of other things as well.

Not sure what FH wants to give his BM & GM. He's tossing around giving them iPods - they can be engraved too.

I got the invites at JB gift emporioum in Merrick, shoes at The Bridal shoe boutique on Old Country Road in Carle Place it is across the street from Avis. Tuxs at Feldman Esquire on Merrick Rd. in errick and they also have a place in Lynbrook. Hope this helps!

I got our invitations at Party Giant in Levittown, I have also heard good things about Party Hardy in Nesconset.
FI is getting the tuxes from Amityville Men's Shop in Guess where...Amityville!! Not too far from Nassau and his price was great. FM me if you need more info.
BM shoes, either online or Baker's maybe. There is a place in Wantagh on Wantagh Avenue, I forget the name, but the guy is wonderful. Does everything right there, even showed us the color right away. Look in the phone book under 'Shoemakers', I know he is listed, that is how I found him. BTW, he is also cheap!!
I got my shoes at Varone's in Sayville. She has only bridal and bridesmaid's shoes.
For Bridal party gifts, I got the girls necklace sets and a bottle or gift set of their favorite perfume.
FI got the guys flasks from Things Remembered.
