Need Surgery!

Meg, I'm in your boat, w/ needing surgery, althoI don't face a problem w/ school. I'm bummed about missing a vacay, it seems so silly for me to get bummed when you have a serious issue w/ your education. My BFF & Matron of Honor (altho her date's not set in stone yet) is in a medical program that sounds similar to yours. It's in Garden City I forget the name sorry, and her Dad passed this past labor day & she was able to take a leave of absence.Maybe you can talk to your teaches and explain the sevearity of the situation. with everything,

so i went to get a physical today for school and found out that i need to have surgery im so mad! i have whats called a pieinidal (cant spell) cyst its on the end of the tailbone and if left it can pop and get infected so to avoid all of that i can get surgery with a 1-2 week recovery which sounds GREAT to me id rather have the surgery. but now with school i dont have any time off! so i dont know what to do! i found it a while ago but it never caused any pain and now it does im so f-ing pissed it had to wait till school started!

I had the same thing! I was 15 when it became inflamed and started to hurt... the surgery wasn't too bad at all! I was walking like a duck for a few days though... but then I was fine! Let me know if you have any questions, and everything will be fine!
