So we did honeyfund. Within an hour of making it and posting it on facebook, our best man actually bought us a land and sea adventure. So nice of him! ![]()

The way honeyfund works though is that they aren't actually buying us anything. The cash gets deposited into our PayPal account and they get a 'gift certificate' they can put into a card and give us at the wedding, telling us what they want to give us. Honeyfund also tells you exactly who bought you each gift.
The question is, do we thank the best man now, acknowledge the gift in any way, or do we wait until the wedding when he gives us the certificate? We actually have the money..but I don't know if he knows that that's how it works and we already know about the gift.
What would you do?
