FI & I are undecided as to where to stay while in Oahu. We are trying to decide between the Sheraton Waikiki & the Halakulani. To make a long story short...price is not a factor, due to various reasons...between the 2 hotels the price difference will wind up being a wash. We are going to be in Oahu for only 2 nights. Please let me know which you would pick and why.

We stayed at the Halekulani and LOVED it!!! We went there for two nights, then to Maui at the Hyatt - DH wanted to go back to the Halekulani! They treat you like royalty there. The views are wonderful, the rooms are spotless. It was voted the best small hotel in the US. You can also walk to lots of shopping and restaurants from there. We ate at their restaurant House Without a Key - delicious and you get the live entertainment too. In case you can't tell, I cannot recommend the Halekulani enough - everything about it is wonderful.
