Need to narrow my choices....reception halls.
Okay, after making a list of about 30 places to visit I realize I need some help to make the list more managable. We are open to Queens, Nassau, or Suffolk. We are looking at about 100 guests possibly 125. Would like to keep the minimum to 90-100 people. So venues that will accept smaller parties is a must. Totally open to Friday nights and Sunday nights. We would like to keep the price around $80pp or preferably less. We are open to off season times of year as well. I would also appreciate if you can tell me which ones to cross off my list based on these needs if you know they will not work for us. Thank you sooooo much!We have already seen
Water's Edge
Crest Hollow

Try my location - The Crestwood Manor. They are geared towards smaller weddings. Plus they only do one wedding at a time (a MUST for me!). The manager Lynne is really nice and down to earth too.HTH

Have you checked out the Reception Guide on this website? http://www.liweddings.com/planning/location-guide.aspxThe pricing can definitely vary and I don't think they really update that part since prices go up every year, but you can get a general sense of how much places are and how many they hold!
With that being said, Sunset Harbour is definitely in your budget. Also maybe try The Riviera and Sea Cliff Manor!

The Crestwood Manor looks beautiful...thanks nattyd.Lori I have used the list but find it to not be very accurate at all. A lot of them say they do much smaller numbers and then when you call it's a whole different story. Thank you very much for your recommendations! Thanks Winnie :0) I will definately be checking out the Rivera, thanks Lisa!

Try Giorgio's in Baiting Hollow. It is gorgeous! I am so excited to be getting married there. They gave me a 100 person minimum for a Sunday. They have off season pricing for January and Feb. starting at $65 per person.

Is that Water's Edge in LIC? I believe that for a Saturday night in June they were about $160pp. I don't remember exactly but it was definitely over $150. It was a beautiful place though - it would be wonderful for a winter wedding. It's definitely worth seeing what they'd do for you for a Friday night in January, for example!

I would definitely check out any of the Lessing's places! They have a great deal for winter weddings as does Stuart Thomas Manor AND Stewart Manor Country Club!!I also know that one of the girls on the 2014 boards just mentioned something about Giorgio's having a winter special also!!

Westbury Manor had menus that fit your budget and they have rooms of varying size - so they should be able to accommodate any size party!

Ariana Waterfall has 100 person minimum (may work with you for less not sure). They also give you the option of all inclusive weddings (what I did) saved me from having to run all over looking for different vendors. So far I have LOVED everyone that they are having for me.

I have gotten summer quotes on thatched cottage 115pp Friday night,Westbury manor 100pp Friday night and miller place surf club 75pp saturday night. all very beautiful venues with great food! personally I have been to crest hallow for a wedding and I didn't care for the food or the fact that they had more then one wedding at a time, but the grounds and halls are gorgeous!!!although no matter what venue anyone picks family and friends are the real life of the party :)

Mine is at Sea Cliff Manor. My guest count is about the same of yours. It is a smaller location so it is perfect for smaller weddings. They only do one wedding at a time which i loved. The people there are so nice and try their best to make your day just how you want it. The location is beautiful, just by the water. I am on a budget and mine is on a saturday night in august and the price was great.
